Have you met an Indian Guru or Buddhist Monk before? Many of us have never encountered such a person. All we really know about them is what we see in images or as a Hollywood interpretation. It is quite easy to say they might have a dreamy or blissful look and manner.

Some of us even believe that if we have more money than we can be rich in life, yet those who have money are often unhappy and less enriched. We trample people to get what we want, not caring if others are hurt. We feel that money and power is required, yet when we get it we find out differently.

Gratitude is not a hard thing to offer even though it may seem like it. There is a simple method to offering gratitude that everyone can use. It is by saying Thank You or offering a handshake or shoulder pat. All you have to do is make someone feel helpful and happy by returning a little something.

We all hope to live in a world that is bright and good, but unfortunately not everyone has the capacity to see all the good that is around us. Instead they dwell on the dark and ominous. It is up to each one of us to truly see the good that is surrounding us and work to change things for the better when needed.

The world has been complicated by flashy products for sale, but there are some very simplistic things you can learn and bring with you through life. Owning the best electronic gadgets, state of the art homes, and other shiny possessions will not fulfill your life as much as the simple things in life.

Remember the scene in Star Wars where Obi Wan Kenobi simply looks into the guard's eyes and persuades him that the three people he is looking for are not the three standing right in front of him even though they are. Can you imagine having an influence like that over other people?
